1. Can I have 1 minute of your time?
- Ask a Professor if you can have 1 minute of their class time to market FBLA-PBL to the students. Bring member sign up forms and leave contact information. Remember the golden rule that it only takes 3 members to form a chapter!
2. Advertising
- You can find various means of advertising for little to no cost. Between electronic billboards, campus newspapers, and billboards there is no reason a chapter shouldn't be able to gain great publicity. More great options include using college radio stations and and tabling to gain publicity.
3. Free Stuff
- For schools with enough money in their budgets, it is great to consider giving out FBLA-PBL t-shirts, pizza, and other goodies to convince people to sign up or attend General Interest Meetings
4. Social Media
- Make sure to be active on social media, mainly Facebook. Don’t be afraid to send out tons and tons of friend requests
- Have members compete at bringing in the most new members and offer prizes to those who are most successful

- Make sure you are seeking out the right students, BUT don’t forget PBL is open to all majors
- Let them know about the benefits
- Competitive events, SLC, NLC, scholarships, professional development, resume booster, largest student run business organization in the nation
